 The Praying Mantis habitat is in many different places like warm places and tropical rainforests in New Zealand . 

 Features 


 Praying Mantis have many different features. It can camouflage like nature and some mantis can be pink, they are called the Orchid mantis. 

 Food & Sleep 

 Praying Mantis usually eat beetles, grasshoppers, crickets and other pest insects. Praying mantis are nocturnal so they sleep during the day and hunt for animals at night. 

 Speed 

 Praying Mantis can spin around at about 2.5 times per second. That means it can spin 10 whole times in only 4 seconds!

 Jobs

 Praying Mantis jobs are to keep away too many insects like spiders, lizards and lots more. They even keep away birds! 

 Predators

 The Praying Mantis predators include moths, mosquitoes, roaches, flies and aphids, as well as small rodents, frogs, snakes and birds. It fights off all of them with its fighting skills, as the Praying Mantis looks like a karate master. 

 Interesting facts

 The praying mantis is a master of disguise (probably because it is green like leaves). Did you know that Praying Mantis are agile like cats? That means the can land on their feet when fallen from a high place.
